The Southern Highlands Attractions
 The
Southern Highlands Attractions (SHA) is a group of exceptional travel
attractions along the southern end of the famous Appalachian Mountains,
from northwestern Virginia down to northeastern Georgia.
Through the heart of this stunning terrain stretches the Blue Ridge
Parkway, which originates in the Great Smoky Mountains National
Park near Cherokee, North Carolina, and joins the Skyline Drive
in the Shenandoah National Park of Virginia. The members of the
SHA are among these parkways, or only a quick drive from them. Please
